Intervention Assistance Fund:
Did you know that most autism therapies and services are not covered by insurance? Parents and caregivers can end up paying over $60,000 per year in autism-related costs. Many insurances do not cover the cost to get an assessment. School diagnosis is NOT the same as a medical diagnosis. Our Intervention Assistance Fund provides mini-grants as reimbursement to families for autism-related expenses. Over the past decade, we've given more than $550,000 in financial assistance directly to families. We accept applications from individuals of any age with an autism diagnosis, or seeking a diagnosis. Mini-grants are not income based; rather a scoring system. There is a two-step process to apply, to include verification of several items. Individuals can use the grant to get an autism screening, therapies, camps, special diets, clothing, etc.
The ASNV Intervention Assistant Fund application is currently CLOSED.
We usually open it once or twice per year based on funding. Please note that we cannot accommodate individual inquiries. To be the first to receive mini-grant program updates, make sure to subscribe to our email list!
