The Autism Program (TAP) Group is a life- and social-skills support group for adults on the Autism Spectrum ages 18 and up. The group is created, led, and facilitated by adults on the spectrum, making it a peer-driven and affirming community. The TAP Group is Fairfax-based, but currently held online, allowing adults from across Northern Virginia to participate in an accessible and comfortable way. Members engage in discussions and activities that build life skills, strengthen social connections, and promote independence. When opportunities arise, TAP may also offer optional in-person gatherings, providing additional ways for members to connect based on individual comfort levels. The TAP Group supports a wide range of communication styles, preferences, and accessibility needs—fostering a community where adults feel understood, empowered, and connected.
