Arts for Autism 2016 Raises over $110,000 for Local Families

ASNV is thrilled to announce that our 7th Annual Arts for Autism Runway Show & Gala, held on November 5 at the Westin Alexandria, was a huge success! Our supporters raised over $110,000 for our families, including over $15,000 for our Intervention Assistance Fund, which funds our mini-grant program.Thank you to all of our donors and supporters who made this possible!

The gala featured incredible artwork and performances from Julia Cartwright, Olivia Duquette, Joseph Piccariello, Jake Sizemore, T'Nia Neal, Lee Jaworek, Conner Cummings, Jessica Dietrichson, Nicholas Cornell, and Pendar Chamlou Delean. We were inspired to hear from special guests Mayor Allison Silberberg, Delegate Jim LeMunyon, self-advocates Conner Cummings and Olivia Duquette, and parent Annette Thompson.

Our model-fundraisers walked the runway in designs by Victor Hou, tu-anh Boutique, Keula Binelly Couture, Abasi Couture, Mila Fashion, SJB Millinery, To Free Your Style, and Christopher Schafer Clothier. Congratulations to top model-fundraisers Ellen Taverna, Joe Syron, Donna Linton, Autumn Hernandez, Jubilee Vera, Bill Mountjoy, and Belinda Salce.
