Intervention Assistance Fund

Did you know that most autism therapies and services are not covered by insurance? Parents and caregivers can end up paying over $60,000 per year in autism-related costs. Many insurances do not cover the cost to get an assessment. School diagnosis is NOT the same as a medical diagnosis. Our Intervention Assistance Fund provides mini-grants as reimbursement to families for autism-related expenses. Over the past decade, we've given more than $550,000 in financial assistance directly to families. We accept applications from individuals of any age who have an autism diagnosis or are seeking a diagnosis. Our mini-grants are based on a scoring system, not income. There is a two-step process to apply, which includes verification of several items. Individuals can use the grant for an autism screening, therapies, camps, special diets, clothing, etc.

We usually accept applications once or twice per year based on funding. To be the first to receive mini-grant program updates, make sure to subscribe to our email list!
